I guess you could say I'm a Tri-state girl. I was born in New York, raised in Connecticut, and now I call New Jersey home where I live with my beloved husband and son, a moody cat and an attention-seeking golden retriver.

Thanks to an amazing high school art teacher who encouraged me to pursue a career in the art world, I set off to upstate New York to major in art. I thought I had found my niche when I graduated with honors from Syracuse University with a B.F.A. in Advertising Design and a minor focus in Illustration.

​

I worked for both small boutique specialty agencies and massive international advertising agencies. I created ads, billboards, brochures, logos, posters, sweepstakes, TV commercials, websites… the list goes on and on. I crafted ideas and designs for oodles of different accounts and solved hundreds of problems for clients for over 20 years and even picked up a few awards along the way.

The ad world taught me a lot, especially the art of client service. And I was fortunate enough to learn from and work with some giants in the industry. The only problem was, it turns out advertising was never my true passion.

Today I'm doing what I truly love… creating one-of-a-kind illustrations that make me and the people who receive them happy!
